UJ Radiography lecturer summits Kilimanjaro for breast health awareness

University of Johannesburg (UJ) Radiography lecturer Amanda Louw, yesterday along with the Pink Peaks ladies, summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in an effort to raise awareness about Breast Cancer.
The morning of Tuesday, 15 October 2013 saw the 15 brave Pink Peaks ladies reach the summit, also known as Uhuru Peak, at approximately 09:00.
Pink Peaks’ mission was to climb Kilimanjaro for the awareness of Breast Cancer and in the process raise money for the less fortunate, fighting Breast Cancer and for education about Breast Health.​
