UJ’s Dr Thabang Mofokeng wins Best Paper at the 2023 GBATA conference

The 2023 GBATA (Global Business and Technology Association) 24th Annual International Conference, themed “Embracing the Positive Impact of Disruption in the Field of Futurism,” held in Prague from 11th to 14th July 2023, celebrated the remarkable achievements of academics from around the world.

Among these exceptional scholars, Dr. Thabang Mofokeng from the Department of Marketing Management at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), garnered significant recognition by being awarded the prestigious Best Paper Award for his outstanding contribution to the field of marketing.

The winning paper, entitled “Inter-Interactions of Ethical Marketing Scale With Customers’ Demographics in the Medical Scheme Sector,” showcased Dr. Mofokeng’s groundbreaking research in the domain of ethical marketing and its correlation with customers’ demographics within the medical scheme sector.
