Postdoctoral fellow Dr. Ferran Portella-Carbó presented his last research paper at two international conferences: the 20th Conference of the Research Network ‘Macroeconomics and Macroeconomic Policies’ (FMM), Berlin (Germany), 20-22 October, and the 28th Annual EAEPE Conference, Manchester (UK), 3-5 November. The first conference focused on assessing the current state of macroeconomics. The second revolved around the economic implications of industrialisation, deindustrialisation and transformation with particular attention to those institutions that flourish and decline around industries and manufacturing.
