South Africa’s sun king and legendary hotel magnate Sol Kerzner visited the School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) on Monday, 25 March 2013.
The hotel entrepreneur (77) encouraged students at the school to pursue careers in the industry because it is exciting and challenging.
Kerzner, who is a well-known patron of STH, gives annual scholarships to prospective students to study tourism and hospitality at the school. UJ’s STH was named after him.
