Today, Friday 7 August 2015 at 17h30, the City of Johannesburg in partnership with the University of Johannesburg launches the Digital Ambassadors programme, which is designed to bridge the digital divide across the metropolitan municipality.
The programme focuses on youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, to deliver digital literacy for the city’s residents. City of Johannesburg Executive Mayor, Councillor Mpho Parks Tau and UJ Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Ihron Rensburg will address the guests at the launch event this evening.
