The University of Johannesburg (UJ)’s School of Public Management, Governance, and Public Policy (SPMGPP) will host a high-level alumni engagement event in celebration of the University’s 20th anniversary.
The event is hosted in partnership with UJ’s Alumni Office.
A relatively young and dynamic school within the College of Business and Economics, the SPMGPP strives to generate new knowledge about how to improve public services delivery to individuals and communities and how to empower citizens through these services to maximise their developmental potential.
It will bring together some of the high-level alumni of the University, namely policy makers, politicians, public servants as well as academics, students and members of the public. The event will be a platform to reflect on three key themes namely, the professionalisation of government, the future of public management and governance in the age of the fourth industrial revolution and sustainability and governance impact.
