CSDA welcomes two new team members

In March we welcomed Jade Pieterse to the CSDA family. Jade will be the CSDA’s communications officer and she brings with her a wealth of strategic communications knowledge and expertise. Jade holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from UNISA and she recently completed a course in Digital Communication for NGOs with the DG Murray Trust. Previously she worked as Strategic Information and Communications Manager at BRIDGE, an NGO that links education innovators to share best practice and improve the education system in South Africa. Using this expertise she will help take the CSDAs communications to new heights.

Alida Kuhn joins the team as an administrative officer. Alida has been a member of the UJ family for some time previously working as academic co-ordinator in the Strategic Communications department. Alida who hails from Namibia is a whizz with all things administration having worked in the Humanities faculty since 2012. She has experience managing budgets, temporary appointments and all administrative matters relating to the department. She also has experience managing timetables and exam planning. Her knowledge of the UJ systems will be a major asset to the team.

We welcome them both and wish them well as they settle into their new roles.
