The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Soweto Science Centre will be abuzz with scientific experimentation, public lectures, science and mathematics shows, teaching workshops and career festivals in the faculties of science, health sciences, engineering and the built environment.
Director of the Soweto Science Centre, Professor Muronga says, “We are inviting each and every curious mind to come and engage, experiment and enjoy all that the University of Johannesburg has to offer during the annual National Science Week”.
The National Science Week (NSW) is an initiative by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and is run by the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) and is a countrywide celebration of science involving various stakeholders and role players conducting science-based activities during the week and is held over nine provinces in various venues.
