UJ staff members, alumni and students can brace themselves for what promises to be an exciting season of the Varsity Cup Rugby tournament. A ticket costs only R20 per person.
On each day, the tournament matches played at UJ, two teams will lock horns to fight for the Varsity Cup Rugby title. On Monday, 10 February 2014, Steinhoff UJ will take on Steinhoff NMMU at 16:45 at the UJ stadium in Westdene, whilst FNB UJ will battle it out with FNB NMMU at 19:00.
On match day two, Monday 17 February, FNB UJ will take on FNB Wits at 16:45 and the match will be broadcast live on Supersport 1 (channel 201). Later on that evening, Steinhoff UJ will take on Steinhoff Wits at 19:00. Match day three will feature the Varsity Young Guns game on Monday, 03 March at 16:45 while FNB UJ will battle it out with FNB UCT at 19:00 and the game will also be live on Supersport 1.
Varsity Young Guns match again on Monday, 10 March at 16:45, and FNB UJ takes on FNB Maties at 19:00 and the match will be broadcast live on Supersport 1.

UJ BIG BRAG
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) Sport fraternity cordially invites each member of the UJ community to meet the UJ 1st team and Miss Varsity Cup finalists on Friday, 07 February at the UJ fountain on Kingsway Campus. UJ Sport encourages its wider community to show the supporting spirit to the talent UJ will be putting forward in the Varsity Cup Rugby 2014 tournament.
Interested individuals and groups must RSVP to tanyan@uj.ac.za until Friday 31 January 2014. The BIG BRAG event will take place between 12:00pm and 14:00pm.
