[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bafana Bafana will be playing two international friendly matches against Mozambique and Angola on 17 and 20 November, respectively, at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province.
To help the men’s senior team do well in both matches, the South African Football Association has requested the services of the University of Johannesburg (UJ) goalkeeper coach, Mr Lucky Shiburi. He will be part of the technical team responsible to train the three SA goalkeepers, Ronwen Williams, Veli Mothwa and Melusi Buthelezi.
Mr Shuburi will report for camp in Johannesburg on Sunday, 13 November 2022.
The women’s Under-17 national team will be going to camp on 21 November 2022 at Funvalley, until the team leaves for the Region 5 Tournament in Malawi. Accordingly, the UJ women’s football team players, Mibe Adrielle, Gositang Motshegwe, and Sandra Mibe were selected by the Association to represent the women’s Under-17 national team.
“It is always great to have players who represent national teams because it motivates other players to play well and work hard to get national call ups. I am happy for our youngsters; their stunning Engen Champ of Champs and Hollywoodbets Super League form has deservedly earned them a spot in the squad for the upcoming Region 5 tournament in Malawi. We wish them all the best,” says Nolufefe Sila, Manager: UJ Football Club.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
