Press Freedom Commission thanks UJ

The Press Freedom Commission, an effort by South Africa’s media industry to investigate best practices in self-regulation, is coming to an end and the Commission will be releasing its report on 25 April 2012 at the Women’s Jail, Constitution Hill, Johannesburg.

Justice Pius Langa thanked the University of Johannesburg (UJ) for the use of its premises and other facilities throughout the Commission’s task. He also expressed gratitude to other members of the Commission. “Their unflagging dedication to the Commission’s task, their enthusiasm, energy and collegial spirit knew no bounds.”
