The Gauteng City Region Academy, under the auspices of the Department of Education is responsible for the coordination, implementation and management of skills development interventions for unemployed youth in the province that include Internship programmes as part of Government’s strategy to alleviate poverty and create job opportunities.

The Academy calls on all final year educational psychology Students and Graduates to apply for the GCRA EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY INTERNSHIP.

DUTIES

The applicants will be placed in the Department of Education to provide for amongst others, Career Counselling in schools and to assist in the administration of psychological assessments. They will also provide support to the schools based career practitioners’ and LO teachers.

DURATION

12 month duration, 2 to 3 days contact time per week can be arranged flexibly over the year period

RATE

R5000 per month for 12 month contract renewable
